Job summary

Pearce is seeking an entry-level Field Maintenance Technician to support mechanical and electrical systems across renewable energy sites. You will travel 100% on a rotation schedule, performing maintenance, installations, and repairs while gaining hands-on experience.

Ideal candidates enjoy solving problems, have mechanical aptitude, and are eager to learn. This role offers growth into solar, storage, HVAC, and power systems within Pearce’s portfolio.

Qualifications

• 1 year of related experience OR completion of a trade school program.
• Willingness to travel up to 100% on Pearce’s rotation schedule.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and facility equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment to identify issues and complete repairs safely.
• Assist with preventative maintenance programs to maximize reliability and minimize downtime.
• Install and maintain conduit, cable trays, brackets, and supports.
• Support warehouse, fleet, and shop operations.
• Assist experienced field technicians with maintenance and repairs at solar and energy storage sites.
• Safely operate hand and power tools.
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
