Job summary

Pearce Services in Raleigh, NC is hiring an Entry Level Field Maintenance Technician to support maintenance of UPS systems, generators, solar and battery storage projects. The role involves hands-on work across electrical and mechanical systems and requires travel to customer sites across North America.

Qualifications

• 1 year of maintenance/industrial experience or trade school completion.
• Willingness to travel up to 100% on Pearce’s rotation schedule.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and facility equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment to identify issues and complete repairs safely.
• Support preventative maintenance programs to maximize equipment reliability.
• Install and maintain conduit, cable trays, brackets, and other equipment.
• Support warehouse, fleet, and shop operations, including equipment maintenance.
• Assist experienced field technicians at solar and battery storage sites.
• Safely operate hand and power tools and material handling equipment.
• Maintain documentation and follow safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, safe work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
