Job summary

Arcadis is seeking an entry-level Geologist to join our Resilience Environment team in Seattle, WA. The role combines field and office work, with 70%–90% of time spent in the field, including drilling oversight and soil and groundwater sampling.

You will support PMs and TMs in site characterization and remediation tasks, compile data, write reports, and coordinate subcontractors while prioritizing health and safety. Travel within the U.S. is required a few times per year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science - Geology required.
• Experience in fieldwork and health & safety expected.
• Willingness to travel regionally within the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers (PMs) and Task Managers (TMs) in planning and executing environmental site characterization, investigation, and remediation tasks.
• Oversee drilling for soil sampling and groundwater well installation, groundwater sampling, and subcontractor oversight.
• Prepare subcontracts, write technical reports, work plans, letters and memoranda; assist in data compilation and interpretation.
