Kiewit Foundations Co. is seeking an Entry Level Field/Office Engineer to support field crews and office teams on underground tunneling and foundation projects. You will learn to read drawings, prepare work plans, and coordinate with subcontractors across large-scale projects.

As part of a nationwide operation, you may travel and relocate as needed. Strong communication and teamwork are essential to succeed in this role and help deliver major infrastructure成果.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a construction-related field such as civil, mining, mechanical, geotechnical or construction management.
• Previous experience in construction or mining is preferred.
• Strong desire to work in underground construction.
• Willing to travel and relocate as we operate on a national scale.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Assist in interpretation of drawings and specifications for field crews and supervision.
• Assist in quantity takeoffs and preparation of work plans.
• Support field surveying, layout, and as-built data collection.
• Assist in Job Hazard Analyses, safety reviews, and coordination with subcontractors.
• Support in cost reporting, procurement, and change order generation.
