Job summary

Kiewit Foundations Co. seeks mid-level Field/Office Engineers to support underground and foundation projects. You will assist in drawing interpretation, quantities, planning, surveying, and daily field administration in a dynamic field-office setting.

Ideal candidates hold a Civil Engineering or Construction Management degree with 1–3 years of deep foundations/heavy civil exposure, and are willing to relocate as needed. OSHA certification is a plus, with strong safety focus and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management or closely related degree.
• 1-3 years of experience in Deep Foundations/Heavy Civil construction preferred.
• Willing to relocate throughout career and strong communication skills.
• OSHA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in interpretation of drawings and specifications for field crews and supervision.
• Perform quantity calculations by taking measurements and determining completed work.
• Assist in preparing work plans and work packages.
• Assist in field surveying and data collection (elevation, control points, as-built data).
• Assist in compiling daily labor timesheets and JHA preparation.
• Participate in job site safety reviews and toolbox talks.
• Order and schedule material deliveries and coordinate work groups on site.
• Supervise field operations and provide field support to subcontractors.
• Assist in estimating tasks including plan/spec reviews and material takeoffs.
