FiberTel, LLC, a Quanta Services subsidiary, seeks an entry-level Fiber Splicer Laborer in Springville, UT. You will assist the Fiber Splicer, learn fiber splicing, and perform related labor tasks in a turnkey telecom construction environment.

The role is full‑time, outdoors, with training opportunities, CDL is a plus, and benefits include health, dental, vision, paid time off, and 401k with company match. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Have a valid driver’s license or be willing to obtain one.
• Good driving record required.
• Basic knowledge of operating utility trucks and equipment safely.
• Basic hand tools knowledge and safe use.

Responsibilities

• Assist Fiber Splicer in all labor tasks as needed.
• Learn fiber splicing and related skills from the Splicer.
• Perform general construction tasks to support crew.
• Hand dig with shovel or use mechanical tools.
• Install and maintain underground telecommunications cabling.
• Operate around heavy equipment and in congested/remote areas.
• Maintain safety through coordination with crew and supervisors.
• Prepare and cleanup construction sites; understand buried utilities.
• Lift heavy equipment and materials as required.
