Job summary

Thanksgiving Point is seeking a dependable Junior Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our Facilities Team in Utah. This hands-on role involves assisting with repairs, inspections, preventative maintenance, and renovation projects across our facilities, helping to maintain buildings, equipment, and infrastructure while growing skills in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general maintenance.

Qualifications

• Some hands-on experience in maintenance or related trades.
• Experience with hand and power tools preferred; willingness to learn may compensate.
• Ability to learn multiple trades such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, painting.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must pass background and MVR checks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with routine repairs, preventative maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting of equipment and building systems.
• Learn and apply safe maintenance practices following company policies and OSHA requirements.
• Work with experienced facilities team members on maintenance, repair, installation, and renovation projects.
• Safely use a variety of hand and power tools and develop proficiency with maintenance equipment.
• Assist with basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, drywall, and other building tasks.
• Identify maintenance concerns and communicate issues or safety hazards to the supervisor.
• Complete work orders and document work performed in the CMMS on mobile.
