Job summary

JLL is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support day-to-day building operations in Columbus, OH. The role focuses on keeping facilities safe, functional, and efficient, with hands-on upkeep across lighting, plumbing, HVAC, and general systems.

You’ll work under mentorship from experienced engineers, applying preventive maintenance and on-call duties to ensure reliability. The position emphasizes mechanical aptitude, safety compliance, and strong communication as you address diverse building

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required due to client requirements.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude or hands-on maintenance experience.
• High school diploma or GED with strong customer service and communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between sites or procure supplies.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine light maintenance: filter changes, lighting, inspections, furniture assembly, and office builds.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues using proper tools.
• Execute general building maintenance: carpentry, drywall repair, light electrical, plumbing, painting.
• Assist with HVAC maintenance and repairs with engineering team support.
• Conduct regular premises and equipment inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
