Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) in Fairfield, OH is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep facilities operating smoothly. You will perform preventive maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems and respond to service requests.

Responsibilities include inspections, record-keeping in CMMS, and collaboration with vendors on repairs. On-call rotation and safety compliance are part of the role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 2+ years hands-on maintenance in commercial/industrial facilities.
• Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general building maintenance.
• Ability to read manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs, work at heights, and access confined spaces.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Occasional weekend work may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on HVAC, electrical panels, plumbing fixtures, and building equipment.
• Respond to work orders, diagnose, and implement solutions to minimize downtime.
• Inspect systems to identify potential issues before escalation.
• Maintain records of maintenance, repairs, and parts in CMMS.
• Collaborate with vendors/contractors on repairs and installations.
• Support energy management initiatives and efficiency improvements.
• Ensure safety regulations and building codes are followed.
