Job summary

Working with Facilities staff, you will complete work orders, maintain safety protocols, and participate in ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude required or preferred.
• Ability to read codes, standards, drawings and OEM manuals.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Complete Lockout Tagout online course within 90 days of hire.
• Eye wash weekly testing competency within 90 days.
• Safety- 10-hour OSHA Competency completed within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Preventive maintenance of systems, equipment and tools as assigned.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems and components.
• Carpentry tasks such as doors, cabinets and drywall repair.
• Complete work orders in a timely, professional manner.
• Operate shop tools and equipment; forklift, backhoe and heavy equipment as applicable.
• Locksmith duties including locks, door closers and keys.
• Maintain grounds, parking lots, snow plowing, landscaping and signage.
• Track supplies, order materials and assist in cost-effective purchasing.
