Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield's C&W Services is seeking a Maintenance Utility Technician to join our operations team in Midland, TX. This entry-level role provides hands-on support for routine maintenance, basic troubleshooting, and on-the-job learning across mechanical, electrical, and building systems.

You'll assist with preventive maintenance, manage work orders in CMMS, help coordinate with contractors, and uphold safety standards in a professional office and industrial setting.

Qualifications

• Technical, vocational, or on-the-job training in HVAC, electrical, mechanical, or plumbing.
• 1-2 years of related facility maintenance experience.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Proficiency with Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• 1+ year of CMMS experience.
• EPA certification or ability to obtain one.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Must pass background check and hair follicle drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Promote safety-first environment and complete safety trainings.
• Learn and develop technical and mechanical skills through on-the-job training.
• Assist with troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of building systems.
• Review and maintain work orders in CMMS.
• Inspect buildings and equipment for unsafe conditions.
• Maintain fire and life safety systems.
• Coordinate with outside contractors from sourcing to completion.
• Operate tools and equipment safely.
• Maintain professional appearance and dress code.
