Job summary

Jacobs in the United States is offering an Entry-Level Environmental Remediation Professional internship. You will support field teams with soil and groundwater sampling, data analysis, and reports, gaining hands-on experience on critical projects.

Based out of the Eastern United States, preferred locations Virginia Beach, VA; Boston, MA; metro Washington, DC; Raleigh, NC; Charlotte, NC, with up to 75% field work and some travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Geology, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science or closely related field.
• Willingness to perform field work
• United States Citizenship
• Valid Driver's License Required
• Ability to work at preferred locations (Eastern US) or other locations based on project needs

Responsibilities

• Assist field activities including soil sampling, groundwater sampling, and remediation system maintenance.
• Prepare scopes of work for subcontracts.
• Conduct data analysis on field and laboratory data sets.
• Create technical reports documenting completed activities and results.
