Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental or Civil Engineering.
• 0–2 years of experience in environmental industries.
• SPCC/SPR, SPDES, and/or report preparation is desirable but not required.
• OSHA 40 Hour HAZWOPER certification is a plus.
• Ability and willingness to travel and perform field work.

Responsibilities

• Perform field duties for environmental projects including inspection, maintenance, monitoring, and oversight of municipal solid waste facilities and remediation sites.
• Conduct environmental sampling and monitoring following established procedures.
• Respond to environmental emergencies across the country and support clients.
• Assist in preparing technical correspondence, proposals, reports, work plans, and project specifications with cost estimates.
• Expand education and experience to perform calculations for design of solid waste facilities and remediation systems.
• Support development of Permit Applications/Renewals for solid waste facilities and contaminated sites.
• Assist with design, construction, and operation of Landfill Gas and biogas systems including RNG plants.
• Support EHS/permit compliance tasks (SPCCs/SPRs, SPDES, chemical and bulk storage compliance, TRI reporting).
• Coordinate routine sampling projects and post-closure monitoring reporting.
