Job summary

Pike Engineering is seeking an entry-level engineer to provide engineering/technical support under close supervision. You will develop skills, work on problem solving, and contribute to project documentation in a structured environment.

You will be expected to apply basic engineering principles, communicate effectively, and help maintain records while supporting team goals and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an ABET-accredited Engineering program or equivalent per NCEES evaluation.
• Understanding of basic engineering theories and principles.
• Ability to research engineering/design issues, evaluate options, and present recommendations.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Understanding of basic electricity and power quality.
• Knowledge of distribution construction standards and methods.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering/technical expertise to identify, analyze, and resolve problems under supervision.
• Plan, organize, estimate, schedule, and monitor work activities.
• Prepare thorough technical reports, calculations, and sketches.
• Pursue continuous improvement of engineering knowledge and performance.
• Demonstrate effective oral and written communication.
• Maintain accurate records and files.
