Job summary

Pike Engineering in Texas is seeking an entry-level engineer to provide engineering/technical expertise under close supervision, developing skills and increasing independence in a defined area. You will gain hands-on experience while contributing to project tasks and learning industry standards.

Under supervision, you will assist with problem identification and resolution, planning, estimating, scheduling, and monitoring of work activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from ABET-accredited program or NCEES evaluation acceptable.
• Understanding basic engineering theories and principles.
• Ability to research engineering/design issues and present recommendations.
• Ability to work with diverse individuals from varied backgrounds.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Understanding of basic electricity and power quality.
• Knowledge of distribution construction standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering/technical guidance to identify and resolve problems.
