Job summary

Pike Engineering is seeking an engineer at the second level of the Engineering classification to provide technical expertise and guidance with supervision. The role focuses on solving complex problems, planning work, and producing accurate technical documentation.

Strong communication and independent work skills are essential. Ideal candidates will have a 2–4 year engineering background, a degree from an ABET-accredited program (or equivalent), and a desire to develop advanced skills with

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree from an ABET-accredited engineering program or an approved NCEES evaluation; or Master’s/Doctoral in engineering from ABET-accredited institution.
2–4 years’ experience as a practicing engineer.
Understanding of basic engineering theories and principles.
Ability to research engineering/design issues, evaluate alternatives, and present recommendations.
Good written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

Provide engineering/technical expertise for problem identification, analysis, and resolution.
Plan, estimate, schedule, and monitor work activities effectively.
Prepare thorough technical reports, calculations, and sketches with accuracy.
Pursue continuous improvement of engineering and professional knowledge.
Maintain accurate records and represent the company professionally.
