Job summary

Universal Energy Solutions hires motivated individuals to join our Houston team as Consumer Sales. This entry-level role is designed for people who enjoy working with others and want to build a successful career in sales.

You’ll meet with local residential owners to review energy plans and identify ways to reduce costs. We provide training, coaching, and mentorship from day one, with paid training and ongoing career development.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license.
• Reliable personal vehicle.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable meeting with business owners face-to-face.
• Preferred: Previous experience in sales, customer service, retail, hospitality, or another customer-facing role.
• Preferred: Self-motivated with strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Meet face-to-face with residential and decision-makers.
• Review current electricity and natural gas supply plans.
• Help businesses identify opportunities to reduce their energy costs.
• Recommend competitive energy supplier options based on each customer’s needs.
• Build relationships with prospective commercial customers.
• Learn our proven customer consultation process alongside experienced mentors.
