Job summary

G&W Electric in Bolingbrook, IL is seeking an Electrical Tester I to perform repetitive electrical testing preparation and basic testing tasks. You will visually inspect products, prepare test setups, and document results.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 0–1 year manufacturing experience, ability to use hand and power tools, read drawings and Bills of Materials, and basic computer skills. Training is provided; safety and quality are emphasized.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 0–1 year manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to safely operate small hand and power tools.
• Ability to read drawings and Bills of Materials.
• Basic computer skills and English comprehension.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect product prior to testing for conformance.
• Inspect testing equipment and test booth for proper operation.
• Prepare product for test by making required connections.
• Document actions by completing production and quality forms.
• Maintain safe and clean working environment per procedures.
• Conserve resources by using equipment and supplies as needed.
• Train others in testing tasks as needed.
• Inspect all work and ensure it meets requirements before passing to next operation.
