Job summary

Naval Nuclear Laboratory in West Mifflin, PA is seeking an entry-level Technician to support testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Bettis SES/RPI&C test infrastructure. You will execute work packages, ensure safety, calibrate equipment, and help modernize lab systems in collaboration with program counterparts.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with 2+ years of relevant experience or an associate degree.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 2+ years of relevant experience, or Associate's degree in a related field.
• Journeyman papers in a related field or Naval Nuclear Propulsion Operator qualification (or nuclear equivalent).
• Willingness to support testing, troubleshooting, calibration and lab maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Support testing, troubleshooting, coordination and performance of periodic facility tests.
• Maintain and modernize lab test systems and test articles; ensure safety and compliance with requirements.
• Calibrate test equipment and manage inventories of parts and equipment.
