Job summary

Naval Nuclear Laboratory is seeking an entry-level Electrical Engineer to contribute to the PPTT platform design, testing, and integration across Bettis (PA) or Kesselring (NY) sites.

You will work on electrical and systems engineering of the trainer, including PLC-based I/O, network architecture, and supporting infrastructure. Strong communication and teamwork are essential as you interface with suppliers and NNl stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in a related technical, engineering or science field.
• Entry-level electrical engineers to support development, testing, and integration of the PPTT.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct independent work efforts throughout the project lifecycle.
• Interface with stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
• Perform electrical design reviews and technical interchanges with suppliers and internal teams.
• Support on-site hardware inspections and testing at supplier facilities and NNl sites.
• Design, procure, install, test, and maintain the PPTT Test Platform, including PLC-based I/O and network systems.
