Job summary

PAE is seeking an Entry-Level Mechanical Engineer to join our design team in Los Angeles in a hybrid office environment. You will learn to design mechanical systems, perform thermal simulations, and navigate building codes while growing under experienced leaders.

You will develop proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD, read plans, and support energy modeling and construction administration as part of a collaborative project team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering in a related discipline.
• EIT or ability to obtain certification.
• Internship experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop mechanical system design, modeling and documentation.
• Use Revit and AutoCAD for design/drafting tasks.
• Read and interpret plans.
• Support engineering distribution, HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Protection and energy modeling.
• Complete assignments under project team guidance.
• Assist with construction administration.
• Perform mechanical calculations and simulations.
• Design layout of mechanical systems.
