Job summary

Jacobs is hiring an Entry-Level Electrical Engineer to support power systems for steel, aluminum, and other industrial facilities. You will help create diagrams, layouts, schedules and installation details while learning client expectations, scope, budget and schedule.

You will be guided through sizing cables, protective devices, transformers and related equipment, collaborating with other disciplines to deliver designs from concept to commissioning in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• EIT preferred; visa sponsorship not available.
• Working knowledge of Revit or BIM software.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; eagerness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Produce construction documents for state-of-the-art manufacturing processes.
• Size and select cables, over-current devices, transformers and other equipment.
• Interact with disciplines to plan a project from concept through construction and commissioning.
