Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an Entry-Level Electrical Engineer to work on steel and aluminum manufacturing facilities and other industrial projects. You’ll be responsible for schedule and technical quality, producing electrical design deliverables and learning to size and select cables and equipment.

The role offers mentorship and growth in a fast-paced environment. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, with EIT or advanced degrees preferred.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Curiosity and ability to multi-task and collaborate.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required; EIT beneficial; Visa sponsorship not available for this role.

Responsibilities

• Produce single-line diagrams, electric room layouts, and cable tray designs.
• Develop cable schedules, ductbank designs, grounding, lighting, and power plans.
• Size and select cables, overcurrent devices, transformers, and equipment.
• Contribute to design process through concept to construction and commissioning.
