Job summary

Westwood Professional Services, Inc. seeks an Electrical Graduate Engineer to join our Renewables Division in the United States. You will support construction document production for solar, wind, and energy storage projects and coordinate with civil, geotechnical, and survey disciplines.

Proficiency in AutoCAD and a solid understanding of NEC/NESC and basic electrical design concepts are required. The role emphasizes teamwork, effective communication, and the ability to balance multiple projects

Qualifications

• Construction document production support for commercial and utility scale solar, wind, and energy storage projects.
• Coordinate with design team disciplines including civil engineers, geotechnical engineers, and surveyors.
• Utilize AutoCAD to create construction documents and perform quantity takeoffs. Construction documents will include site layouts, wire/cable routing plans, one lines, details, equipment/wire schedules, etc.
• Create wiring/cable schedules based takeoffs and sizing input from senior designers/engineers.
• Maintain awareness and knowledge of Westwood design/CAD standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide drafting/design support for electrical power/distribution systems.
• Collaborate with civil, geotechnical, and survey teams to ensure integrated designs.
• Produce construction documents and quantity takeoffs using AutoCAD.
• Develop wiring/cable schedules and input sizing data for projects.
• Adhere to Westwood CAD standards and project guidelines.
