Job summary

Clark Construction seeks a CAD Operator for its Central Engineering team to deploy CAD/BIM across the full construction data lifecycle, from preconstruction through construction. You will develop 2D/3D drawings, coordinate models with engineers and BIM subcontractors, and perform site surveys while supporting multiple projects.

The role requires collaborative teamwork, basic electrical knowledge, and readiness to travel to active construction sites; a driving capability handles physical tasks

Qualifications

• Entry-level CAD operator with ability to develop 2D/3D drawings.
• Electrical knowledge and ability to read NEC requirements.
• Collaborates with project management, field teams, and BIM vendors.

Responsibilities

• Develops 2D installation drawings and detail drawings from 3D models
• Create electrical floor plans, elevations and single-line diagrams
• Models in 3D and coordinates with Engineer-of-Record, Manufacturer, or BIM subcontractors
• Performs site surveys and coordinates data with prefabrication
• Meet weekly with project staff and update BIM scope status
