Job summary

KODIAK Construction Recruiting & Staffing seeks an experienced BIM Specialist Modeler – Electrical Construction to join our Florida team. You will develop and maintain electrical BIM models through the construction lifecycle.

Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD MEP, Navisworks Manage, and Bluebeam Revu, plus 1+ year BIM experience and 2+ years in commercial electrical work, is preferred. We offer competitive compensation and growth.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of commercial electrical construction experience.
• 1+ year of BIM experience.
• 1+ year of 3D modeling experience.
• Associate degree in CAD or related field preferred.
• Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD MEP, Navisworks Manage, Bluebeam Revu, and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain electrical BIM models throughout the construction lifecycle.
• Perform constructability reviews and clash detection using Navisworks.
• Coordinate with project teams through weekly BIM coordination meetings.
• Generate quantity takeoffs and support project documentation.
• Update and manage BIM models, file exchanges, and milestone submissions.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, architects, and field teams to deliver coordinated models.
