Qualifications

• ARDMS/CCI certification in cardiac or vascular sonography is required or preferred.
• BLS certification for healthcare providers is required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate technical competence for department-specific ultrasound protocols.
• Prioritize and schedule exams and coordinate with staff and patients.
• Prepare for exams, educate patients and families, and ensure safety.
• Perform ultrasound exams and document results accurately.
• Maintain equipment, supplies, and work area; support quality initiatives.
• Mentor caregivers and students on equipment use and techniques.
• Participate in continuing education to develop additional skills.
