Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking an Echo Tech for Good Samaritan Hospital to perform diagnostic cardiac/vascular exams under physician direction. This role welcomes recent graduates with strong sonography skills and BLS certification, and offers on-site training and mentorship.

Qualifications

• ARDMS/CCI certification in cardiac/vascular sonography.
• BLS certification for healthcare providers is required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate technical competence for department protocols.
• Prioritize and schedule ultrasound exams.
• Coordinate exams with medical staff and patients.
• Prepare patients and educate on procedures.
• Perform ultrasound exams according to related protocols.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort; document results.
• Mentor caregivers and students on equipment use.
• Apply charge codes for exams and supplies.
• Maintain equipment, work area, and supplies; support quality initiatives.
• Provide education to caregivers and students as appropriate.
