Job summary

Intermountain Medical Center in Murray, UT is seeking an entry-level Echo/vascular sonographer to perform diagnostic cardiac and venous exams under physician supervision. Weekend, holiday and on-call duties are required as part of a full-time schedule.

New graduates or those new to the field are encouraged to apply; ARDMS/CCI certification and BLS are minimums, with a Bachelor’s degree preferred. A sign-on bonus up to $2,500 is available for qualified external candidates.

Qualifications

• ARDMS or CCI certification in cardiac or vascular sonography.
• BLS for healthcare providers.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred from an accredited institution.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate technical competence for department protocols.
• Prioritize and schedule exams with staff and patients.
• Educate patients and families on procedures and ensure safety.
• Document results and apply charge codes.
• Mentor caregivers and students on equipment and technique.
• Support quality improvement and education initiatives.
