Qualifications

• ARDMS or CCI certification in cardiac or vascular sonography.
• BLS certification for healthcare providers is required.
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate technical competence for department protocols and exams.
• Prioritize and schedule exams; coordinate with staff and patients.
• Educate patients and families on procedures; ensure safety and comfort.
• Document results; apply charge codes for exams and supplies.
• Maintain equipment and stock; support quality improvement initiatives.
• Mentor caregivers and students on equipment use and technique.
