Intermountain Health is seeking an Echo Technician for diagnostic cardiac/vascular exams under physician supervision. The role is designed for graduates with limited experience and requires coordination with the clinical team to ensure patient safety and timely imaging.

On-site at Good Samaritan Hospital, Lafayette, CO, with on-call shifts and 10-hour days. The position emphasizes competence in ultrasound protocols, patient education, and collaboration to support quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• ARDMS or CCI certification required.
• BLS certification required for healthcare providers.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred from accredited institution; degree verified.

Responsabilités

• Demonstrate technical competency for department protocols.
• Prioritize and schedule exams.
• Coordinate exams with medical staff, offices, caregivers and patients.
• Prepare for exams by patient identification and education; transport patients.
• Perform ultrasound exams per protocols in a timely manner.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort; achieve quality outcomes.
• Document results and apply appropriate charge codes.
• Maintain equipment and supplies; assist with repairs and supplies.
