Job summary

Advance Auto Parts in Manassas, VA is seeking a Salesperson to support the DIY business and reach sales and service objectives. The role requires knowledge of store systems, basic automotive parts knowledge, and the ability to source parts from stores, hubs, and suppliers.

Position can be part-time or full-time, with fleet safety certification preferred. You will assist customers in-store and by phone, perform DIY services, and help maintain inventory and store standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to work days, evenings, and weekends as needed.
• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Speak and write English; Spanish a plus.
• Read and interpret safety rules, manuals, and parts catalogs.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers and phone inquiries.
• Achieve personal sales goals and help store reach overall sales targets.
• Offer DIY services (battery installation, testing, wiper installs).
• Maintain store product and operational standards; manage inventory processes (cycle counts, back stock, etc.).
• Safe delivery of parts to customers as needed.
• Ensure store cleanliness and general stocking including truck stock.
