Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking a Salesperson to support the DIY business, assist customers in-store and by phone, and contribute to achieving sales/service objectives.

The role requires knowledge of store systems, basic automotive parts knowledge, and the ability to source from stores, hubs, and suppliers. The position can be part time or full time, with responsibilities spanning inventory, safety, and customer service.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Speak and write English (Spanish a plus) and communicate effectively with customers, peers and management.
• Read and interpret safety rules, maintenance instructions, parts catalogs and procedures.
• Basic math for everyday transactions and measurements.
• Able to work days, evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers in store and over the phone.
• Achieve personal sales goals and help the store reach its sales targets.
• Provide DIY services such as battery installation and wiper installations.
• Maintain store product and operational standards and inventory processes.
• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed and assist with stocking.
