Advance Auto Parts Inc. is hiring an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY business and achieve sales objectives. The role requires knowledge of store systems, basic automotive knowledge, and the ability to source parts from multiple venues.

Part-time or full-time opportunities available, with fleet safety certification preferred. The Salesperson will handle in-store and phone interactions, perform basic DIY services, and maintain inventory and cleanliness while meeting safety standards.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Speak and write English; basic communication with customers, peers and management.
• Ability to work an assortment of days, evenings, and weekends as needed.
• Basic math and reading of safety rules and instruction manuals.
• Comfort with battery installation, testing, wiper installations and DIY services.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goals and help store reach its targets.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation and testing, wiper installs.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Oversee inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock.
• Maintain store cleanliness and general stocking; deliver parts when needed.
