Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking an entry-level Salesperson to support our DIY business and meet sales and service objectives. The role requires knowledge of store systems, basic automotive part knowledge, and the ability to source from stores, hubs, PDQ, and external suppliers.

Part-time or full-time options are available, with fleet safety certification preferred. The position emphasizes customer service, product knowledge, and safe handling of parts, with responsibilities spanning sales,

Qualifications

2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
Speak and write English (Spanish a plus).
Ability to work days, evenings, and weekends as needed.
Basic driving and navigation ability.
Friendly communication and customer service orientation.
Knowledge of store systems and basic automotive parts knowledge.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
Achieve personal sales goal and help store achieve its sales goals.
Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
Maintain store product and operational standards.
Responsible for inventory processes including truck put away, shoot outs, cycle counts, Back stock, etc.
Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.
Assist with store cleanliness and stocking as required.
