Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY business, with basic automotive knowledge and store-systems familiarity. The role involves assisting customers in-store and by phone, performing battery and wiper services, and maintaining inventory accuracy.

The position can be part-time or full-time. You will work across inventory processes, receive parts deliveries, and use POS and parts lookup systems to locate items efficiently.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Basic automotive system knowledge is preferred.
• Ability to source from stores, hubs, pdq, and external suppliers.
• Ability to use basic math in daily tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goals and help store meet sales targets.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Inventory processes including cycle counts, back stock, and truck put away.
• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.
• Operate inventory and store equipment including POS and lookup systems.
