Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking a Salesperson to support the DIY business and meet sales and service objectives. This entry-level role requires basic knowledge of store systems, parts and automotive systems, with capacity to source from stores, hubs, PDQ and suppliers.

Part-time or full-time options are available. The position emphasizes delivering great customer experiences, executing inventory processes, and providing DIY services such as battery installations and wiper replacements.

Qualifications

• Speak and write English; communicate effectively and build relationships with customers, peers and management
• Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs, and procedure manuals
• Use basic math accurately for all units of measure
• Ability to work a variety of days, evenings, and weekends as needed

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls
• Achieve personal sales goal and help store achieve its sales goals
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Maintain store product and operational standards
• Responsible for inventory processes including truck put away, shoot outs, cycle counts, Back stock, etc.
