Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY business, assist customers in-store and by phone, and help meet sales and service objectives. The role requires basic knowledge of store systems, automotive parts, and safety procedures.

You will perform battery and wiper installs, maintain inventory, execute stock replenishment, and provide a friendly, reliable customer experience across day, evening, and weekend shifts. Safe driving and basic math skills are helpful.

Qualifications

• Speak and write English (Spanish a plus).
• Read and interpret safety rules, maintenance instructions and parts catalogs.
• Use basic math for everyday transactions.
• Ability to work days, evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers in-store and by phone.
• Achieve personal sales goals and help the store reach targets.
• Perform DIY services such as battery installation and wiper installations.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Manage inventory processes including cycle counts and back stock.
• Deliver parts safely to customers as needed.
