Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is recruiting an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY business and achieve sales and service objectives. The role requires knowledge of store systems, basic automotive parts knowledge, and the ability to source from stores, hubs, and suppliers.

The position can be part-time or full-time and may involve delivering parts to customers. You will assist DIY customers in battery and wiper installations, manage inventory, and maintain clean, organized store operations

Qualifications

2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
Ability to use store systems and inventory processes.
Basic automotive knowledge.
Speak and write English (Spanish a plus).
Ability to work days, evenings and weekends.
Safety knowledge and driving ability.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers.
Achieve personal sales goals and help store achieve its sales goals.
Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
Maintain store product and operational standards.
Inventory processes including cycle counts, back stock, etc.
Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.
