Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking a Salesperson to support the DIY business with basic automotive knowledge and strong customer service. The role sources parts from stores, hubs, pdq, and external suppliers, and maintains store inventory and operations.

It can be part-time or full-time and requires providing DIY services such as battery installs and wiper replacements. Key duties include delivering excellent customer experiences, meeting sales goals, and maintaining safety and cleanliness.

Qualifications

• English proficiency and ability to communicate with customers.
• Ability to read safety rules and operating manuals.
• Basic math skills for transactions and inventory counts.
• Flexibility to work days, evenings, and weekends as needed.
• 2–3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goal and help store achieve its sales goals.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Responsible for inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, Back stock, etc.
• Store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, parking lot.
• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.
