Job summary

Vermeer All Roads Avon is looking for an Entry Level Heavy Equipment Technician to service, repair, and recondition Vermeer machinery. If you are mechanically inclined and enjoy problem solving, this role offers hands-on training and a path to certification.

Ideal candidate has at least 2 years of experience in heavy equipment repair, with knowledge of hydraulics, electrical systems, and welding. Work is Monday through Friday, with standard shop hours and no nights or weekends.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of heavy equipment repair experience.

Responsibilities

• Service, repair, and recondition Vermeer Equipment as directed by the branch service manager.
• Diagnose equipment malfunctions; hydraulics, electrical & hydrostatic experience required.
• Create estimates for repair costs.
• Communicate with the factory for technical assistance.
• Keep accurate and detailed records of all repairs performed.
• Be an experienced welder.
• All other duties as assigned.

We are searching for an Entry Level Heavy Equipment Technician to repair Vermeer machinery and components. Ideal candidate is currently in a Tech role repairing heavy equipment with at least 2 years of experience.

Compensation & Schedule

• $18 - $24 hourly
• Monday - Friday, shop hours 7 am - 5 pm

Responsibilities

• Service, repair, and recondition Vermeer Equipment as directed by the branch service manager.
