FleeTec Academy Program Highlights
  • A paid educational program that leads to a full-time Diesel Technician position.
  • Designed for those who cannot afford traditional technical school or tools.
  • We pay you to learn, providing free education on Diesel Engines and truck repairs, along with a set of tools and a toolbox.
  • 4 weeks of full-time classroom training, with all travel expenses, hotel, and meals covered, plus a weekly stipend and paycheck.
  • Post-training, paired with a Lead Technician for hands-on training and a full-time role as a Mobile Diesel Mechanic.
  • Ongoing education and skill development throughout a multi-year program.
Compensation and Benefits
  • $13.08/hour (or state minimum wage, whichever is greater) + $250/week stipend during training.
  • Increase to $19/hour after 6 weeks.
  • Second class for 4 weeks at Indy at $19/hour + $250/week.
  • Upon graduation, earn $21/hour.
Candidate Requirements
  • Desire to start a career as a Diesel Technician.
  • Willingness to study hard and dedicate 4 weeks away from home.
  • Maturity, technical aptitude, and passion for vehicle repair.
  • Ability to operate an iPad.
  • Must be 21+ to drive company trucks.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Background checks, driving record checks, drug testing, and physical required.
