• Weekly pay for Diesel Tech Trainee positions
• Hourly pay: $23.00
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, weekends off
• Hours: Second shift, 2:30 pm – 11:00 pm

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Up to 1 year of mechanical experience working with diesel engines preferred
• Must be 18 or older
• Proficiency in English
• Customer service skills
• Technical aptitude and ability to learn equipment maintenance
• Ability to troubleshoot, work independently and in teams, and represent Ryder professionally
• Good time management and attendance
• Basic computer skills
• Knowledge of machines, tools, and shop management systems (preferred)
• Valid CDL Class A license (preferred)

Regulated Tech Requirements

• Obtain CDL within 6 months
• Pass Ryder drug test, DOT physical, road test, background check

Responsibilities

• Move, wash, fuel, and maintain vehicles according to safety policies
• Perform multi-point inspections and report issues
• Maintain fuel island area and perform minor facility maintenance
• Complete technician training programs and assessments
