Position Details

• Diesel Tech Trainee Positions Pay Each Week
• Hourly Pay: $20.50 per hour
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, Weekends OFF
• Hours: Second Shift 2:00 pm – 10:30 pm

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• Zero to one (1) year mechanical experience preferred
• Must be 18 years or older
• Proficiency in English communication
• Customer service skills
• Technical aptitude
• Ability to troubleshoot and work independently or in a team
• Good attendance and performance record
• Basic computer skills
• Knowledge of machines and tools (beginner level) preferred
• Valid CDL CLASS A, preferred
• DOT safety regulated position; age and work hours depend on State Law

Regulated Tech Requirements

• Obtain CDL within 6 months of hire
• Pass Ryder drug test, DOT physical, road test, background and motor vehicle check

Responsibilities

• Move heavy vehicles, wash, fuel, and record activity
• Perform multi-point inspections and minor maintenance
• Maintain fuel island and perform facility maintenance
• Complete Technician Training Development Program
