Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care seeks an entry-level Registered Nurse for the Outpatient CAP1 program. You will provide and coordinate clinically competent care, perform nursing assessments, planning, interventions, and evaluate patient progress during dialysis.

As part of the ESKD care team, you will educate patients and families, collaborate with RNs, LVNs/LPNs, and Patient Care Technicians, and support quality improvement initiatives within the facility.

Qualifications

• Entry-level RN with less than 2 years of nephrology nursing experience.
• Chronic/acute hemodialysis experience preferred.
• RN licensure active in state where employed.
• CPR/BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform systematic collection and analysis of patient data during dialysis and document in medical records.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for assigned patients.
• Educate patients and families about care plans and treatment options.
• Deliver safe hemodialysis therapy and coordinate with the care team.
• Administer medications per protocol and document effectiveness.
• Assist with emergency responses and safety procedures.
• Provide orientation and training support for new staff.
