Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care seeks an entry-level RN for the Outpatient CAP 1 program in Phoenix. The role provides and coordinates clinically competent care, including assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation for an assigned group of patients.

You will participate in hemodialysis care under supervision, document in patient records, educate patients and families, and assist with emergency responses while collaborating with the care team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current state nursing licensure.
• CPR BLS Certification.
• Entry level RN with less than 2 years of nephrology nursing experience.
• Chronic/acute hemodialysis experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate clinically competent care including assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation for assigned patients.
• Perform ongoing data collection and analysis of patient data pre, during, and post‑hemodialysis; document in medical records.
• Educate patients and families about learning needs, plan of care, and treatment modalities.
• Direct and provide safe delivery of hemodialysis therapy in collaboration with care staff.
• Administer prescribed medications and participate in emergency response measures.
• Serve as a resource, participate in staff training, and support the interdisciplinary team.

Education

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing

Current state nursing licensure

CPR BLS Certification

Less than 2 years of nephrology nursing experience

Chronic/acute hemodialysis experience preferred
