Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited college.
• Certified Engineer-in-Training or able to obtain within 12 months of hire.
• Prior experience in infrastructure design and/or construction observation.
• Proficient in CAD and design software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D or MicroStation.
• Willingness to travel during construction season.
• Hold a valid driver's license for site visits.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Engineers with design and construction phase activities on municipal projects
• Perform basic design computations, preliminary layouts, and draft reports
• Assist with project plans, specifications, and cost/quantity estimates
• Support construction observation activities and interactions with stakeholders
