Job summary

Saputo Cheese USA Inc. in California seeks an entry-level plant production employee to support 24/7 operations. Training is provided across multiple positions to assist plant operations and develop hands-on skills in packaging, conveying, and sanitation.

You will be part of a team, follow SOPs, and maintain records while learning to operate equipment, perform change-overs, and uphold safety and GMP standards in a fast-paced dairy environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or 1 year demonstrated work experience.
• Previous experience in food manufacturing or warehousing is preferred.
• Good math skills and proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Hand-stacking, case packing, housekeeping, product conveying and reclaim.
• Follow SOPs in detail and set up packaging coders.
• Identify out-of-spec conditions and communicate them effectively.
• Maintain production records and support equipment change-overs.
• Work safely with equipment and follow GMPs and Food Safety requirements.
