Job summary

Saputo Cheese USA Inc. in California is seeking a hands-on production associate for 24/7 operations. You will provide safe, efficient production support, follow SOPs, and contribute to packaging, reclaim, and quality checks.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, basic math, SAP familiarity, and strong English communication. Hourly pay is $28.76 with opportunities to cross-train and support multiple departments while upholding GMPs and health/safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or 1 year demonstrated work experience.
• Experience in food manufacturing, warehousing, dairy preferred.
• Good math skills.
• Proficient computer skills; SAP a plus.
• Pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Strong verbal and written English communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and efficient production support including hand-stacking, case packing, housekeeping, and product conveying.
• Follow SOPs in detail.
• Set up packaging coders and validate product codes.
• Identify out-of-spec product conditions and follow notification protocols.
• Perform routine equipment adjustments and use of hand tools.
• Operate lift truck and move materials as required.
• Complete production records accurately.
• Assist with equipment change-overs, CIP/SIP, cleaning and setup.
• Maintain environmental controls and participate in audits.
• Cross-train with other departments and uphold health, safety, GMPs and sanitation.
