Job summary

Colonial Surety Company is seeking a Customer Service Representative for the Contract Surety Department in an entry level role. The position includes onboarding and hands-on training with experienced professionals.

Responsibilities include processing bond requests, coordinating documents with underwriters, and maintaining accurate records while delivering excellent customer service. Monday–Friday on-site in Woodcliff Lake, NJ with career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience in administrative, customer service, banking, insurance, or related business roles preferred.
• Strong organizational and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to learn quickly and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Process contract surety bond requests including Bid, Performance, Payment, and Maintenance Bonds.
• Review bond submissions for completeness and accuracy.
• Coordinate collection of financial statements and underwriting documents.
• Maintain contractor, agent, and bond records in company systems.
• Monitor bond execution and delivery to ensure compliance.
